The Model 2020 Fifth Wheel is used to measure vehicle speed and distance. It consists of a 21 inch carbon fiber wheel supported by high strength aluminum alloy forks, along with a high pressure, low profile, smooth tread tire which limits wheel growth. The system is dampened with a gas charged spring to minimize wheel bounce.
The fifth wheel assembly includes a standard mount 1¼ inch square trailer hitch with anti-rattle lock grips. The model 2020-EM-X1 wheel assembly is weather resistant and can accommodate hitch heights varying from 7½” – 35 ½”. A hold-up pin parking feature is included for ease of transportation and storage.
The Link Model 2020-EM-X1 Fifth Wheel Vehicle Speed Measurement System can be easily integrated with many of Link’s Vehicle displays and/or data acquisition systems including the 3501 and 3801.
