System Features |
|
The Model 3900 Dynamometer provides capability for noise and vibration testing of brake corner and axle fixtures. This machine provides the ability to reproduce a wide range of brake noise issues. The system incorporates state-of-the-art technology for optimal correlation to actual operating conditions.
The brake enclosure is fully isolated from the dynamometer drive and support systems to reduce noise and vibration. The dynamometer enables close correlation with existing certification test protocols including SAE J2521. Additionally, the enclosure is constructed to allow environmental testing using one of several optional environmental conditioning units. The typical unit provides ranges of –20º C to 40º C and 20 to 90% relative humidity.
The ProLink software package integrates dynamometer operation, data acquisition, data analysis and reporting. The NVH module is based on the Brüel & Kjær Portable PULSE™ system. The PULSE™ system runs under the ProLink software package to maximize the ease of use while providing a full set of noise and vibration analysis capabilities.
